How to Prepare Curd/Yoghurt?


1.       Boil the Milk
2.       Cool the Milk to room temperature it should be warm not hot.
3.       For ¼ liter of milk pour 1/4 tbsp  of curd.
4.       Leave it for at least for 6 hours.
5.       Ooohhhhhhhhh milk turns into curd


How To Prepare Avalakki Bath?


Count:1
Ingredients:
1.       Avalakki  1 Cup
2.       Refined Oil
3.       Mustard seeds
4.       Channa Dhal
5.       1 Green Chilly
6.       Curry Leaves
7.       1 chopped Onion
8.       Turmeric powder
9.       Shredded Coconut but not mandatory
10.    Water

Preparation:
1.       Add 1 tbsp of Oil to Tava
2.       Once the oil gets heated add little mustard seeds,channa dhal
3.       Add green chilly and leave it for few seconds until it gets fried
4.       Add Onion and curry leaves and fry it until it gets cooked.
5.       We can add Carrot, Peas or potato also to this.
5.       Add little turmeric powder
6.       Now just dip the Avalakki  in water for 10 seconds and squeeze the water completely
7.       Add the wet Avalakki in the Tava.
8.       Mix thoroughly until it gets cooked. Dont Overcook!
9.       Now sprinkle the Coconut
11.     Turn off the stove

How To Prepare Tomato Rice?


Count:3 people

Ingredients:
1.       6  Big size apple tomatoes
2.       1 Big size onion
3.       3 Green chillies
4.       Curry leaves
5.       1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste
6.       1 cinnamon
7.       2 cloves
8.       Rice Normal or Basmathi
9.       Mustard seeds
10.   4 tbsp-Refined oil
11.   Salt according to the taste
12.   Water

Preparation:
1.       Soak the Rice for 10 minutes
2.       Chop the onions, Tomatoes, Chillies
3.       Start the stove and keep the cooker on it.
4.       After 1/2 minute pour the oil
5.       Once the oil gets heated normally 30 secs in full flame
6.       Add few mustard seeds,1 cinnamon,2 cloves to the oil.Leave it for few seconds until you get the aroma.
7.       Add ginger garlic paste and curry leaves.Leave it for 20 sec .
8.       Now add green chillies and leave it for 15 sec until it gets fried.
9.       Add onions and fry until it turns brown.
10.   Then add Tomatoes and fry until it is cooked
11.   Add Water.For 1 glass of Rice add 2 Glass of water for Normal.or 1 :1 for Basmathi
12.   Then add Rice and Mix well
13.   Now add salt and taste it
14.   Then close the cooker lid and put the weight
15.   Leave it until it whistles 3 times.
16.   Turn off the stove
17.   Wait for 5-10 minutes until Cooker releases its steam
18.   Open the Cooker lid and mix it thoroughly
19.   Serve Hot
20.   Yummy Yummy Tomato Rice is ready!

Having Sleeping problems?

I was having sleeping problems one year back.After lying down in the Bed it takes 1 hour or 2 hours to
feel sleepy.Now  i completely get rid of these issues.Follow any of  these  it can help you as well.

  1. After lying down in the Bed if you are not feeling sleepy just don't think too much about anything by simply thinking over and over again.Get up wash your face and read any books or do anything which you are interested and try to divert yourself
  2. When you plan to have dinner at 8 PM have warm milk around 7 PM.
  3. Go for walking everyday.
  4. Take dinner early.Eg when you want to sleep at 10 PM take dinner around 7:30 or 8.

Simple ways to reduce Depression

The word "Depression" is most commonly used by all ages of people. Depression is the state of mind block. Apart from yoga, medication and medical therapy there are many ways we can proably avoid depression. It may continue for few weeks or months if certain diversion can't found. Some of the methods which we can adopt daily are discussed below.
Exercise :
Exercise is the best solution to come out of depression. Continous exercise for 30-45 minutes can divert your attention and make you feel good. Also opt for playing shuttle cork, volley ball, etc., running for long distances with friends also one of the solution. Apart from depression exercise also helpful for diabetes, weight reduction, etc.,
Music :
 Hearing melody music lonely for one hours can keep you away from the depression. Selective and good music is advisble.
Chatting:
Talking to dear ones and friends for long time can also helpful to relax  from the depression. Particularly talking to an old friend  makes yourself happy. Talk to postive speaking peoples which can make you lift up from your depression world.

CFL - compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) is basically a low energy bulb. It takes only one-third of energy when compared with normal bulbs and also it remains for long life time, 8-15 times life span time than normal ones. CFL bulbs may be costlier one but we can give it for its quality for long life time.

  1. Energy Saving : There lots of benefits of using CFL, some of them are CFL produce same amount of light with very less energy consumption. Hence your electricity bills reduced automatically. About 50-75 % of energy is saved, hence it uses only one-third of electricity.
  2. Money  Saving:Life time of CFLs is vey high when comparing with normal lamps. 10-12 times longer life will helps you to get it past about 5000 hours. 
  3. Environment Saving: CFL also reduce the amount of carbon dioxide out to the atmosphere.
Demerits of CFL:
  1. Frequent switching OFF/ON the CFL will decrease its life time, so its  better for continuous burning of light.
  2. CFL is Temperature sensitivity hence its not suitable to use where temperature keeps on changing from high to low and low to high.
  3. Most dangerous item in CFL is its mercury content. So while disposing the CFL's it should be safely disposed which may cause harmful effects both to humans and environment. 
CFL can be good for long run and also reduce the amount of electricity consumption to great extend. People must be educated for better disposal system in the case of CFL which has harmful mercury content. Mercury is a poisonous and can be easily goes underground and affects the water source in that area and surroundings.


How to avoid Headache ?

One of the common problem arouse to all kind of peoples around us. Once in a week or at least once in a month every one faces this problem. Some of the general tips to avoid headaches are stated below..
  •  Drink Water: Headache is mainly caused due to dehydration, drink sufficient amount of water to get rid of it. Be careful drinking too much of water can dilute the nutrients from your body which then makes you tired and hungry. 
  •  Oil massage to Hair: Whenever you felt headache apply good amount of coconut oil to your hair and gently massage for some time, oil absorbs the heat from your head and relive your headache. 
  •    Sleep Well: Sleeping properly for 7-8 hours a day can be good solution for headache. Resting your eyes and body is must.  
  • Simple Exercise: If you’re sitting and working in one place for long time then stretch your body frequently, rotate your neck, opening your mouth wide open from time to time, closing eyes for few minutes, take a small walk whenever possible, etc., 
  • Clean Teeth: Headache also occurs due to bad teeth and breathing hence keep always your teeth clean and fresh.    
  • Avoid Cold: Try to avoid over cold foods and cool drinks during evening and night hours because it may resulted in headache often.

Pepsi, Coke decays your Teeth

 It may be surprise to hear but its real fact that for long time exposure to soft drink may damage your teeth to a greater extend. 


    

Reasons for this are
  1. The phosphoric acid and citric acids in soft drinks like Pepsi, Coke, 7 Up, Dew, Fanta, Miranda and Sprite are blamed for wearing away tooth enamel and weakening teeth, allowing sugar to harm teeth even more.
  2. The artificial coloring in cola also contributes to yellow teeth, not to mention the caffeine in cola that can cause a stain build up on teeth.
  3. Anther one  fact is that the sugar in the above soft drinks  enters the bloodstream faster as well, eventually affecting the body's production of insulin, putting individuals at higher risk for Type 2 diabetes.
