Tasty Chicken Biryani in 30 Minutes(Ingredients in English &Tamil)

Ingredients:
  1. Chicken with Bones(Without Bones wont be that tasty as with bones)
  2. 1 long Cinnamon sticks (Pattai in tamil)
  3. 2 Cloves (Krambu in tamil)
  4. 4 Cardamom (Elakkai in tamil)-Broken with skin
  5. 2 Bay Leaves(Brinji elai in tamil)
  6. Chopped Green Chilly (5 in number)
  7. Ginger Garlic Paste-2 table spoon
  8. Onion 2
  9. Tomato 2
  10. Curry leaves(karuveppilai in tamil)
  11. 1 handful of chopped Coriander Leaves &Mint leaves (Mandatory) - Kothamalli & Podhinaa in tamil
  12.  Basmathi Rice- 250 gms
  13. Coriander Powder- 4 table spoon-Kothamalli thool in tamil
  14. Garam Masala(Not Mandatory) 
  15. Salt
  16. Water-(For Baswathi Rice 1:1.5 and for Normal Rice(1:2)












Steps:
1.Clean and Cut the chicken pieces and add sufficient amount of water to boil the chicken in pressure cooker.Add salt,turmeric powder,Garam Masala and coriander powder  to chicken and let the cooker whistles for 3 or 4 times.

2.Add oil in the pan.Add chopped cloves,cinnamian sticks,chopped cardamon,curry leaves and Bay leaves.
3.Add green chillies,onion,tomato,ginger garlic paste.Leave until it turns brown


4.Now add boiled chicken,coriander powder,chopped mint and coriander leaves and salt
 5.Mix well and add rice to the mixture

6.Use the same boiling water  which we used to boil the chicken  along with the mixture and whistle 2 times and keep it simmer for 5 minutes

7.Now the tasty chiken Biryani is ready
