Which Soap is good for cleaning hands?


There are numerous products in the market which serves this purpose.It is not the Soap which helps to kill the germs.It is the way we are cleaning the hands.How good we are rubbing the all parts of the hand inside out and cleaning with Soap/Gel it is as best in killing germs.Nothing to do with any kind of soap or gel.

How to prepare soft Idly

Fermentation of the Idly batter is the Key thing for the soft idly's

Ingredients:

  1. Rice 3 cups(Soak for 4 hours)
  2. Urad dhal 1 cup and Methi/Fenu greek seeds 1 table spoon(Soak for 4 hours)
  3. Salt.
  4. Water
Steps
  1. Grind Rice until it is smooth
  2. Grind Urad dhal and Methi seeds
  3. Mix both the above using Hand.(Mixing through Hand is very important since it helps in fermenting)
  4. Keep aside for 8 hours or Until it ferments(You can add yeast for this)
  5. Fermenting is very important in this process otherwise idly wont come soft rather it becomes very hard
  6. Add salt before preparing.Dont add salt before it ferments since it slow down the fermenting process

How to store Herbs (Mint,Coriander and other Green Leaves) freshly for long time

Step 1:
Take a Food bag which can be sealed air tight.


Step 2:
Put the herbs inside the food bag and close it air-tight


Step 3:
Put the  Small holes using Fork or any small needle on the food bag in 3-4 places.



Step 4:
Keep it in refrigerator

Step 5:
Below are the Mint leaves which I have stored for 1 month.Still it is fresh.

Tasty Chicken Biryani in 30 Minutes(Ingredients in English &Tamil)

Ingredients:
  1. Chicken with Bones(Without Bones wont be that tasty as with bones)
  2. 1 long Cinnamon sticks (Pattai in tamil)
  3. 2 Cloves (Krambu in tamil)
  4. 4 Cardamom (Elakkai in tamil)-Broken with skin
  5. 2 Bay Leaves(Brinji elai in tamil)
  6. Chopped Green Chilly (5 in number)
  7. Ginger Garlic Paste-2 table spoon
  8. Onion 2
  9. Tomato 2
  10. Curry leaves(karuveppilai in tamil)
  11. 1 handful of chopped Coriander Leaves &Mint leaves (Mandatory) - Kothamalli & Podhinaa in tamil
  12.  Basmathi Rice- 250 gms
  13. Coriander Powder- 4 table spoon-Kothamalli thool in tamil
  14. Garam Masala(Not Mandatory) 
  15. Salt
  16. Water-(For Baswathi Rice 1:1.5 and for Normal Rice(1:2)












Steps:
1.Clean and Cut the chicken pieces and add sufficient amount of water to boil the chicken in pressure cooker.Add salt,turmeric powder,Garam Masala and coriander powder  to chicken and let the cooker whistles for 3 or 4 times.

2.Add oil in the pan.Add chopped cloves,cinnamian sticks,chopped cardamon,curry leaves and Bay leaves.
3.Add green chillies,onion,tomato,ginger garlic paste.Leave until it turns brown


4.Now add boiled chicken,coriander powder,chopped mint and coriander leaves and salt
 5.Mix well and add rice to the mixture

6.Use the same boiling water  which we used to boil the chicken  along with the mixture and whistle 2 times and keep it simmer for 5 minutes

7.Now the tasty chiken Biryani is ready
